Edit: I'm really happy that so many people like this photo. Yes, it is a compiled image, and has been tone mapped for certain HDR qualities regarding exposure, contrast, and color. This photo represents my memory of being in San Francisco, even if it's not perfect. =)

That is a fantastic image. The only thing I would even think of changing is trying to find some way to get rid of the chain link fence in the foreground. Change the angle or crop or photoshop it out. But I kind of like it at the same time, so I could see keeping it or taking it out.

Either way fantastic image.

Great job, thanks for sharing !

Thanks for your comment.

I actually WISH I could have gotten a similar shot WITHOUT that fence in the way. That little patch of dirt on the point near that fence is where people used to climb down to, off of the main tourist section, in order to take pictures, but when I was there, it was roped off with caution tape. I could go back and get rid of it in photoshop, but when I look at the photo, I kind of like it in there all the same. It's how I saw it when I was there, and I guess I like my photos to represent my experiences, whether or not they are postcard-perfect. =)

It's cool either way. I suppse with the fence it says something about living in our post 9-11 world as well.
